Twin Lakes

Over the weekend Jenn, Brandon, Patrick and I went on a backpacking trip to Twin Lakes, in the Uinta's. Friday night we stayed at Paradise Pond, there were a lot of cows and we saw a few deer also. It was freezing cold that night, when Patrick and I woke up there was ice in our tent!

Saturday morning we started our hike up to twin lakes, we made a few wrong turns but we made it there okay! We thought it was only one to two miles but it turned out to be more like 5 each way.

Once we got there we set up our camp and then went fishing. Jenn caught her first 20 fish, mu arm was too tired so we went back to camp and let Brandon and Patrick keep on fishing. They would never get tired of fishing. When they came back they were happy to see that we built a huge fire all by ourselves. They were impressed, as were we!

Thanks Brandon and Jenn for putting up with us! We had a ton of fun!

King's Day

On Friday Patrick and I drove up to Louis Lake in Wyoming for King's Day. On Saturday morning Jason, Juli, Kaycee, and Jackson set up camp next to us!

Not only was Dave still in town but my Aunt Cheri flew in for a visit from Texas, it was so much fun to see her!

MarKaye and Kate are all grown up now!

Kaycee and Riley liked to paddle all by themselves! They did a really good job too.

My Mom was probably the most brave person out on the lake with Peyton and Braden paddling her on the kayak! (She is holding on for dear life!) The funniest was when Patrick and Peyton both fell in the lake!

David is in town!

On Sunday the 5th, my big brother David came in town from Vermont! Phil didn't come and we missed him very much.. Maybe next time. My parents brought Dave (and dinner) over on Sunday.

During the week we went to the dog park. Of course Brandon and Jenn came with Yogi!! (The pictures at the "water hole" were way too dark... I never make it there while it is light!)

T.J. & Kim's Wedding

On Friday nigth we went to a dinner for T.J. and Kim. We had a lot of fun, Brandon and Patrick were reallly happy they wore cargo pants beacuse they had a place to stash the m&ms. I left my camera in the car but Jenn has a cute picture on her blog... (jennandbrandon.blogspot.com).

On Saturday, T.J. and Kim got married in the Bountiful Temple. It was a gorgeous day. They were both so happy, we are so excited for them! It was so good to see everyone and have a chance to hang out with them.
