Sunday in Disneyland

On Sunday we used our Magic Morning passes and got in a bunch of rides.
I had forgotten how much fun a lot of these rides were since I couldn't ride them last year.
We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel Saturday night and it was so nice to be right in the middle of everything.
We got to swim in the pool and ride the river rapid ride in California Adventure.

Also in California Adventure there is a new Toy Story ride and it is a blast!
I think that was the longest line we waited in but it was well worth it.

On our way home we had a few extra minutes and decided to go see the Queen Mary, and this was as close to that haunted ship I ever want to get.
I am so glad that we got to go to Disneyland this year.
We didn't think we would be able to, so it made it more exciting when we could.
Thanks Mom & Denise for watching G.K. for us.
I know he would have had fun in Disneyland but it would have been a lot of work.
I think he had more fun at home with you! Thanks a million!

Disney Land!!

This last weeekend we went on our 3rd trip to Disney Land with Brandon and Jenn.
We had so much fun. We left Thursday night and spent Friday in Disneyland.
We did go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

On Saturday we went shopping.
We always go to the Block, a mall with some fun shops and a lot of people for watching.
It was kinda sad, you could tell the economy is not doing great in California.
Ron John's Surf Shop and Hilo Hattie were both closed and some other stores were just sad.
But we still found some killer deals.

Then we went to Hollywood.
We got to see the preparations for the Oscars at the Kodak theatre.
The people watching there made up for the Block.
We went to H&M (my fav. clothing store) and In & Out Burgers.

Then that night we went back to Disneyland mostly to see the fireworks but we just missed them. We'll have to try again next year!

Ouchie!

Last Wednesday was a big day.
I was getting ready for our trip to Disneyland and we were leaving GK with my Mom.
So I was trying to make sure I had everything for him and us.
I gave him a bath in the kitchen sink witch I've never done before.
I think I like his tub a lot better but he's about out-grown it.
I made sure he was dressed and I took a few pictures so I would have them on my camera.
Then I had to run to the bathroom real quick and I set G.K. on the bed and thought, I should really put him on the floor...
But I didn't, and I heard the scariest sound I've ever heard.
He fell off the bed and hit his head on the hard hard wood floor.
I got a hold of Juli and she helped me calm down.
Then I finally got a hold of someone at the Dr.'s Office and they said they had time to check him out. I know he was okay, he was happy and acting normal but since we were going out of town I figured I'd be able to have more fun if I wasn't worried about him.
The Dr. told me that her son (who is the same age) had gone in earlier with a goose egg on his head too. That made me feel a little better but I still feel terrible.

Good Bye!

Well we did it. We sold our car. It was MY car! I spent many many hours in that thing. Driving back and forth to work. I'd always eat lunch in my car at the church parking lot. I slept in it a lot too during lunch. I got in my first car accident, had my first flat tire (while on the freeway), and got my first speeding ticket all in this car. It took us many many places. So I am kinda sad. It was a really good car but it was sitting in our back yard and we would rather put up a basketball stand and the extra money helped us go on vacation. So while she was a good car she is no more. She now belongs to another!

Valentine

On Valentine's Day Brandon, Jenn, and Yogi came over for a feast.
We had steak, crab legs, and potatoes. It was delicious!
Patrick and I never go out on V-Day our anniversary is so close
and everywhere is so  crowded, it isn't worth it.
Jenn and Brandon gave G.K. a little toy that he loves.
This is him playing with it.
Yogi & D'Ohgee exchanged valentines
and G.K. has a little girlfriend down the street he gave a valentine too.
Patrick got me a new Ipod for v-day/anniversary.
I love it! It is Hot Pink!!
Thanks Everyone for a great Valentines Day. We feel Very Loved!!

Pay It Forward

I signed up for this a few weeks ago and forgot to do this part...

1. Be one of the first THREE bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me (Me with Patrick's help I'm sure).

2. Winners must post this challenge on their own blog, meaning that you will pay it forward, creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!

3. The gift that you send to your 3 friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember it’s the spirit and the thought that count!

4. When you receive your gift, blog about it! If you are not one of the first three to comment on this post, you can still play along. Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same! It's all about paying it forward.

What is this?

So G.K. has really been getting around.
He's not crawling but he can cover some serious ground.
I think his favorite is to stand on his toes and hands/elbows.
It's hard to get good pics of it but I think this one will do.
When he's on the move he almost leaps ahead and falls really hard.
It's getting hard to put him to sleep because he's moving around so much.
He will rock back and forth and hit his head on the bumper pads.
I may need to take them down soon because he is starting to climb up on them.
We may need to put this kid in gymnastics he is so strong!!

Too Old

I don't know about Patrick, but I am getting really pretty old!
Jenn and Brandon came over this past weekend,
they brought a yummy dinner and we played some games.
We were having So much fun we didn't realize what time it was.
Almost 2:00 in the morning. I am still so tired.
We did have a lot of fun though. We played Pictionary Man and Chicken Foot.
Thanks Jenn & Brandon for being so willing to drive out to B.F.E. so we can put GK to bed and not have to worry about a babysitter. I think he'd fall asleep fine at your house though. You guys are the Best friends anyone could ask for!

Go Grizz!

I was so excited about GK's 6 month pictures I forgot to blog about his little Party!
Since GK is such a big boy he wanted to go to a Grizzlies Game for his half birthday!
Jenn and Brandon are some of his Best Friends so they had to come too!
We had a lot of fun. We went to eat at the Cracker Barrel which I'm not too sure about..
I'll just leave it at that. The gift shop was a lot of fun though.
The game was a blast! We got there a little late. (Of Course, you can't show up on time!)
Garrison was watching everything, all the people and the bright ice rink.
It was fun to watch him. It was late though and he was up past his bed-time.
He fell asleep while Jenn was holding him. He was so peaceful, then the Grizzlies scored!
They have that Fog Horn that goes off like 10 times.. He didn't sleep much after that.
I think he had a good time. Happy Birthday Babe!
