9 Years!

Wow! I can't believe it has been 9 years since we got married!
My 9 Favorite things about Patrick are: (in no particular order...)
1. His Smile
2. He's such a hard worker
3. Sense of Humor & He's SO much fun to be around
4. He Loves his Mom
5. He's an amazing Dad
6. Beautiful Blue Eyes
7. His Determination
8. He Wants to be/do more, even though he doesn't need to
9. The way he knows me better than I know myself.
I am also so grateful that he is a Priesthood holder and that he is willing to provide for GK & I.
I never could have thought I would love him more than on the day we got married.
But every day it seems to double. Patrick you are my best friend.
Thanks for putting up with me all these years!

6 Months

I can't believe that Garrison is 6 months old!
Time really does fly when you are having fun.
He has reached so many milestones..
First of all surviving with Patrick and I as his parents!
He has 3 teeth, he sits up really well.
He sleeps all night. He loves to eat big boy food.
He has brought so much joy to Patrick and I.
He has also survived my torturing him with the whole picture thing.
I promise the naked ones are over. I just love his little rolls!

Pappy's Big Day

Patrick is so much fun and so easy to please! For his birthday we went to The Auto Show. It was a lot of fun because we went when it first opened so it wasn't too crowded. They had the new Camaro (bumble bee from Transformers) which is supposed to come out this spring. But I promised I would only take 1 picture while we were there and the Bentleys were a much better choice. They had Ferrari's and Mazurati's there too. G.K really liked it. We thought he'd fall asleep but I don't think he even blinked.
After the show my parents had us over for lunch. They had Ahi Tuna and potatoes and salad and beans and raisen bread. There was a ton of food! It was delicious! We had to get going, Patrick was supposed to go home teaching but they canceled so Patrick and G.K got to watch some Football.

While the boys were watching the playoff games I made Patrick some divinity and a trifle for his special day. Patrick's Mom was sweet enough to make him meat loaf which is one of his favorites. I think we should have celebrated her for giving birth to Patrick (He was an 11 lb. baby! she deserves gold and diamonds for that!)  Patrick's parents joined us for dinner and to help us eat that trifle.
Patrick I hope you had a good birthday. I love you so much! You are amazing at providing the best life for G.K. and I. You even take such good care of your parents. I'm grateful for all that you sacrifice on our behalf. You are an amazing Father and Husband. Thanks for everything you do for us! We Love You!

Patrick's Birthday

On Saturday we began Patrick's Birthday Celebration.  We went to Texas Roadhouse and of course we went with Brandon and Jenn! I don't know what we would do without them. I'm glad they thought to call ahead because the wait would have been hours.
I can't believe Patrick is 31! He looked so Handsome. I don't think he looks a day over 30. The ribs and salmon and steak were all delicious but I think my favorite were the rolls.
Happy Birthday Honey!

Dinner Party

Over the weekend we had my frind Shaunti over, and Jenn and Brandon of course! Shaunti has been dating this guy Brett for a long time (I think 8 months?) and I wanted to meet him. I think they make a really cute couple. They are a lot alike! We all helped out with dinner then we played Uno Attack and guitar Hero. It was a lot of fun.

eating

So I'm not sure if I've blogged about this or not but we have been feeding G.K. solids for a while now and for the most part he Loves it! His favorite right now are sweet potatoes and peas. We haven't given him many fruits yet. But Root Beer is a vegetable in our house so it's totally okay!
Oh! Look how Big he is!
D'Ohgee can't wait for G.K. to start throwing his food.
This was his first bite of squash. It's not his favorite but he likes it okay.

Happy New Year!

We have had such a fun Holiday!
Jenn & Brandon came over on New Years Eve to celebrate with us!
Jenn brought some way yummy food so when we were suppose to actually eat,
I was already too full!
But that is part of the fun.
We played lots of games and had a really good time.
We just love hanging out with Brandon and Jenn!
We really rocked in the New Year!
I think this is the first year ever that I got a kiss at midnight.
We sat in the hot tub after. What a way to bring in the New Year!
D'Ohgee was wanting in on the hot tub action.
On New Years Day Patrick's Mom had us over for a delicious dinner.
I was really tired but it was a lot of fun!
We played some more games and got to hang out with Lyndsey and Adam.

Thanks for a fantastic New Year! We can't wait to see what will come of 2009!
