Patrick's Surgery

On Tuesday Patrick had a doctor appointment to have his knee looked at and on Thursday he had it operated on.  It was a really simple and common surgery.  He is so funny when he is on those pain medications.  He was so worried about "going under" but then after all he could talk about was how much he loved it! And the first thing he did was call his Mom, he's so sweet, he was worried because he hadn't told her about the surgery.   These are his little scars today! He says that his knee feels a lot better, but it is still really stiff.

Lyndsey's Birthday

A couple of weeks ago we had a little party for Lyndsey's birthday. It was a lot of fun we were missing a lot of people so it was pretty laid back.  Dyllan was sure to keep us all entertained though.  Benton is growing up really fast!

Bret & Karen's Wedding

Okay I know I haven't blogged about Bret and Karen's wedding, but it has been really really hard for me.  As many of you know I think that Bret is so adorable.  So when he got married it was really hard to let him go... Just kidding!! We are so happy for Bret and Karen, we really are. The whole day was beautiful, we had so much fun! So thank you very much for letting us be a part of your day! You two will "sail" through life's journey.

Easter

Last weekend we had so much fun it has taken me until today to recuperate!  On Friday we went with T.J. and Kim to a Utah Blaze game.  They got tickets from work and the seats were really good.  On Saturday we had tickets to see Terry Fator in Wendover, we bought them about 2 or 3 months ago and didn't realize it was Easter weekend. It was so much fun. He won America's Got Talent, and has a show in Vegas. Then on Sunday we went to see my Mom and Dad, Wendi & Dennis were there too so it was really good to see them. Then we went to Brandon and Jenn's house for our yummy Easter Dinner. Jenn pretty much made the whole dinner my job was the dessert and it didn't turn. My stomach still hurts from laughing. Yogi's little incident was a nice distraction though.  Thanks everyone for a way fun Easter weekend!

St. George

Last weekend we went with Brandon and Jenn to the beautiful St. George. Brandon had to go for work so we all bummed a ride. The highlight for the boys was the sporting clay shooting in Mesquite at the Oasis. It was really cool I have to admit. Jenn and I even shot some, the coolest was over the water!  My highlight was the shopping. Patrick and Brandon were really good sports and actually had some fun with us. We played some games on the way home, this tire game would have worked better if it wasn't snowing and raining all the way home!

Florida

A few weeks ago Patrick went with his Dad and brothers to Florida for some serious testosterone! They went deep sea fishing, where they caught a lot of fish, and they went to The Daytona 500. They all seemed to have a really good time. Boys shouldn't be trusted though, Patrick said they almost missed 3 of the 4 flights. I'll try to get him to revise this with his own twist.

King's Day

Okay, so I know we just had King's Day last fall... But we like to have it when the most people are in town. We knew that Dave would be in town in February to take a huge exam, so we planned our party for that night and the next day. Tom and Yadi totally surprised us by coming in town, nobody knew they were coming it was really cool! So we had the whole family for the first time in about 4 years. We got family pictures done and we ate a lot of food and got to catch us with each other.  In the morning Wendi, Juli, Tom, Dave, and I all went for a jog to Albion and back. Thanks everyone for coming in town! We had a lot of fun!
