More of our G Baby

Okay, so D.O.G. is adjusting better than can be expected.
She does get more attention in some ways (getting to stay inside & more treats).
But she doesn't get as much love. I'm not petting her all day.
It does help when she gets a bath and smells good. But I don't have time to give her many baths.
One night she opted to sleep outside which for her is absurd!
I think she'll come around a little more when G K gets a little older and her can give her attention.

G Baby after a bath.
He just loves them, no matter how fussy he is you can put him in the warm water
and he settles right down... Until you take him out!
He is so peaceful when he is sleeping.
When he is awake he can be a holy terror.
Already! We are in for it.
He loves to make kiss/monkey faces.
He has been smiling too, but I haven't been able to catch one on the camera.
I love this concerned look. He just looks so worried.
I think he's realizing we aren't going away.
Sorry I just have a bunch of pictures. I swear he poses for me!
It is going to cost me a fortune to print them.
But I'll be sure to go through them first. (My sister Juli just took in her memory card and asked for doubles, there were like 500 pictures on there! Thank heavens for Sam's Club.)

Just Another Weekend

We have had a really fun weekend. I don't think I took any pictures but we went to Tempanyaki on Friday with Jenn and Brandon and we had a really fun cook. Then on Saturday Patrick got a rare opportunity to just go fishing, and I got all my scrap booking done (pre baby). That night Jenn and Brandon came over to hear G.K. scream and we watched a movie and made s'mores in the oven. I wonder if you could bake marshmallows with chocolate on them then top them with the graham. I will have to try that. Today we went to church (just sacrament meeting) and we had a delicious dinner with his parents.  But since I can't have a post without pictures here are some of our baby!

I love all the little expressions G baby has. It is so much fun to just watch him, even while he's asleep. In this picture you can really see his dimples. Just like his aunt Lyndsey's.
This picture was taken at the minute he turned 1 month. (I know I am a dork!) We sang happy birthday at 12:35.
I had to get a picture of him wearing his cute church outfit (thanks Jenn and Brandon).
He looked so handsome, I didn't realize I was covering up his outfit.
He got hungry during the sacrament so we had to sneak out but I think it went pretty good.

4 weeks

So, today is G.k.'s 4 week birthday!
I can't believe it!
Time flies when you are having fun.
We spent the afternoon with Lyndsey and Benton.
We tried to scrapbook but the boys wouldn't have much of that.
Better luck next time.

Patrick gave Garrison a bath and he smells really good, I think the neighbors can smell him too! But here are some more pictures of our baby.

Fishing

So last weekend we met Jenn and Brandon up at Lily Lake.
It was beautiful, and really nice to be in the mountains.
Patrick hasn't been fishing all year, so he was anxious to get out there.
I had G.K. and I feel really bad. He was not a happy camper at all,
I looked down and saw that his feet were uncovered.
Well it was like 50 degrees, his poor feet were freezing.
I covered them and he fell right to sleep.
I'm learning.
I think he really liked his first fishing trip!

Mom & Dad Rock

I really wanted to get a rocking chair, but I couldn't find one that I liked and I didn't know what I would do with one when we don't need one anymore, so my parents were kind enough to let me borrow theirs. My Dad spent a long time taking it apart and putting it back together so it would be a little stronger and my Mom sewed some new cushions that make it so soft to sit on.
Thanks so much you guys! We love it! G.K. loves to rock!

G.K.

Yes, I know I take a lot of pictures. I can't help it though. It's a genetic defect.

My Mom set up for us to get Garrison's pictures done and they are adorable. I thought about this after we went. I wish I had taken this long board in when we got his pictures done. But of course I didn't think about it until after. He is really a good little poser for me.
This little boy loves his Daddy. Everyone told me that boys are Mamma's boys but I think he and his Pappa are two peas in a pod! I Just adore my Men! Aren't they handsome!

Work

I had worked at E.W.S. for just over 8 1/2 years. You know it is a good company when you work somewhere for that long. It was a hard decision to leave but I think it is the right decision for me to stay at home with our beautiful baby. They were so understanding about my decision to quit, I don't think most companies are so understanding and supportive.

A couple of weeks ago they threw a little party and got a bunch of vegetarian pizzas and a cake, it was funny to hear all the guys complain about no meat on the pizza but they liked it and ate it anyway!  They are so funny. I really miss all of them!

After G.K.'s 2 week appointment (he now weighs 7 lbs and 10 oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long the dr. said he looks perfect!) we went to see all our family at E.W.S. There were a lot of people I didn't get a chance to see but it was really good to see the people that were there.

Hangin' Out

Here is G.K. and Gavin. Gavin is 6 months old, what a difference.
Mike and Tarese have some of the best kids I've ever met. They are very well behaved.
McKenna, Parker, and Brooklyn all adore Jenn. She was reading them bedtime stories.
Patrick, Mike, and Brandon had like a 20 minute conversation about their feet.
They are so funny. Can you guess whichpastey white foot is Patrick's.
I couldn't get both of his, it was throwing off the exposure on my camera.

Changing

Here is Garrison asleep in his bassinet. He loves to keep his hands up by his face or covering it!
Patrick left his wedding ring in the bathroom, I think this will show how little his hands are. They actually are pretty big for his little body. He is pretty good at holding things. Often he'll hold in his binky.
Here he is holding onto my thumb. He is so sweet.

Our son seems to change every day!
It is so fun to watch him grow.
His little tummy is starting to fill out.
He sometimes has a double chin.
He sleeps and eats very well, most of the time.
Every day just seems to fly by.
Sometimes he will smile at us but I think he just has gas.
I don't want him to get bigger, he is the sweetest baby.
He loves to snuggle and be held.
He makes a face that looks like a monkey, I'm trying to catch a picture of it but I just can't seem to get one.
We love our little boy!
