Donna, Dogs, Dumb Dumb, and Dirt!

Donna

It has been so much fun having my Grandma around. We convinced her to stay a few more days and it was so nice. I think I really enjoyed her company more than anything. She is such an amazing woman and so much fun to be around. I am so grateful that I had the time to spend with her. We went shopping a couple of times, we drove up to see the temple in Draper but were more blown away with the castles that were being built right next door. They made the Temple look so simple and beautiful. It put it in a different perspective. G.K. loved his Great Grandma. She watched him for me a few times so I could go grocery shopping and running! Grandma You are the Best!

Dogs

Yogi was really sweet to invite D'Ohgee to the dog park last Friday. I don't think we went one time last year. D'Ohgee has really needed to get out. She is shedding really bad and she is in heat so needless to say she has spent a lot of time outside. I love this dog park, all the dogs can run around but ther is somewhere to go. There is a little pond at the end but we didn't want the dogs getting to crazy because the water was really high. D'Ohgee loves to jump after the splashing water, last time we were here Patrick had to jump in and save her. We had a blast as always! Thanks Yogi!

Dumb Dumb 

On Saturday we went to the Car Show at Thanksgiving Point because my friend Jeremy from E.W.S had his car in it. I love Car shows, Patrick thinks they are a little white trash but I like them more than the Auto Shows because you can see most of those cars anytime. These cars are so unique. We saw a really ornate hearst, boats, Shelby Cobras, the new Camaro, and my favorite the Ford Woody! The people watching isn't half bad either.  We gave G.K. a dumb dumb and he went crazy over that thing. He had drool half way down his shirt. Here he is chowin' down! 

Dirt!

After the car show we went to Okubo's and got some plants. I love haveing a garden and apparently Garrison does too. He was helping us with the weeds and we couldn't stop him because our hands were covered in just as much dirt as his mouth. He is such a good helper!

Well D'Ohgee hasn't always loved Garrison but lately she has been really sweet!The other day I was just taking a picture of G.K. standing and she wanted to give him some love. I thought it was so sweet! And G.K. can't get enough of her. 

I can't believe how big he is getting. He just wants to stand all the time. Last night I went to check on him after Patrick put him down to go to sleep. The night light was off and when I turned it on he was standing up chewing on his crib just giving me the biggest smile. He is so much fun, I just can't get enough of him.

So D'Ohgee still isn't a HUGE fan of G.K. but she is getting a little better!

We have fun tormenting the both of them!

We want to get a saddle for the puppy.

More of our G Baby

Okay, so D.O.G. is adjusting better than can be expected. 

She does get more attention in some ways (getting to stay inside & more treats).

But she doesn't get as much love. I'm not petting her all day.

It does help when she gets a bath and smells good. But I don't have time to give her many baths.

One night she opted to sleep outside which for her is absurd!

I think she'll come around a little more when G K gets a little older and her can give her attention.

 He just loves them, no matter how fussy he is you can put him in the warm water

 and he settles right down... Until you take him out!

He is so peaceful when he is sleeping. 

When he is awake he can be a holy terror. 

Already! We are in for it.

He loves to make kiss/monkey faces. 

He has been smiling too, but I haven't been able to catch one on the camera.

I love this concerned look. He just looks so worried.

I think he's realizing we aren't going away. 

Sorry I just have a bunch of pictures. I swear he poses for me! 

It is going to cost me a fortune to print them. 

But I'll be sure to go through them first. (My sister Juli just took in her memory card and asked for doubles, there were like 500 pictures on there! Thank heavens for Sam's Club.)

My Birthday!!

Friday, October 19th was my Birthday!! I had so much fun, Patrick made me waffles with fruit and whipping cream for breakfast it was so yummy! Then I went to work and Mindy and Sam decorated my desk with balloons and confetti, Hana was sweet to put up with me not really working, and my Mom and Dad sent me some roses. That night we went to a wedding reception for Keros Lowder, then had dinner at Magleby's. When we got home Jason and Jenn's family was there to party with us. It was pretty much the best Birthday I have ever had! 27 Rocks!!

Autumn Days

Last Sunday we took D'Ohgee on a walk. We went to Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon. It was a beautiful autumn day.
